Saturday, Saturday, Sat, Sat, Saturday…!

Good Morning world and thank you as ever for tuning in to the wonderful world of the Planet Magnet!

Today finds me in a simply wonderful mood and extremely happy with all that is going on in my world!

Yes certain things could be better but if we think back to Thursday’s post “It never rains but it’s been biblical” I spent time writing about trying to find the positive in things and not being overwhelmed by all that is happening in our own little worlds on a day to day basis.

For this reason at least I am determined to spend the next two weeks in a state of “uptempo fiasco” 😉

Not really but I think I should size the day and enjoy all that life has to offer me at this moment because people, we only get the one crack at it and I don’t want to end up with my whip only half cracked when it times to shuffle off of this mortal coil – something I do not plan to do for at least another 50 years minimum 😉

So why so happy? Well no particular reason but lets look at things shall we?

I am not particularly well off at the moment but I have enough money to get by. I am still a little overweight but I am nearly 140lbs lighter than I was last year, I am not as fit as I would like to be but I get around a great deal better than I have done in years. I have just finished over four years of convalescing after the broken leg, weight issues and subsequent surgery but last week I gave up my Disabled badge and a few weeks ago I changed my car for a van so I could start a business. I had wondered for a long while what my future might hold but this week I take another step closer to it as my business – The Handy Gent- launches and for all of these things I am truly happy.

This week I have also arranged my flyers and my business cards and altered the logo, see what you think….

Not bad eh?

Well, I like them…. 🙂

I am not making a list of things to be thankful for or to count my blessings for because that list in all honesty could either be a few lines long or a few hundred lines long. But I am aware that things are good. Things are better than they have been in a long time and things will only get better and better as I continue to grow and continue to achieve my goals.

Just think, two weeks today will see me sitting down to a cooked breakfast – yes guys, I have already decided what I am having for breakfast in two weeks time 😉 – and looking back on the experiences of the previous week. Whether I do so with a certain amount of pride of not, I have no idea at this stage but I do know there will be a sense of achievement and any money I will have raised up to that point will be gladly handed over to the HENRY charity.

Obviously this blog will be fast approaching its expiration date with only one last EPIC post to come and as you already know, the reason for this blog being stopped is so that it can be turned into a book and all of the proceeds give to the same charity as well.

But fear not, the blog shall return under a new guise (well, just as soon as I can think of one that suits 😉 )

Anyway, enough of that. Today is a good day, today is the first day of the rest of my life. Today I shall no doubt do many things and I shall aim to enjoy all of them, even the ones that scare, frighten or bore me.

Maybe you guys might do the same, maybe some of this post may have rubbed off on you, let me know in the comments along with your thoughts on my new logo and adverts…. 🙂

‘Till tomorrow,

Stay out of the fridge.

P.S Don’t forget to follow this link and donate to my just giving page…..

Wow, I have really been out of the loop on things! I am going to travel back into your posts to find out about the blog closing – I do know about your charity, but I have been a little lapse in my reading the last couple of weeks.

Your business name and cards are awesome! I wish you all the best with this endevour. I have started a new business as well with another chronic pain suffer who I met here in the world of W/P. I won’t bore you with the details now as I am sure you either have or will read about it in my blog.

I wish you a wonderful Saturday!

Oh, and I can say for certain in two weeks time that I will have a cold breakfast. How can I be so certain? You will have to read my latest blog post! LOL! 😉

    Lydia!

You! ending blogging? I think not.
