Well The Votes Are In And It’s Unanimous…..

Good Morning world and thanks for tuning in toΒ  another day here on Planet Magnet.

Today the sun is shining here in the little town of Wantage in Oxfordshire and I am feeling good if not a little tired and sleepy, but regardless of this tiredness, I must take this seldom seen dry weather, put it to good use and get out there with the dog and get some miles under my belt.

For some reason these past few days have proven difficult to getting a really good walk in with the dog. I know I have been busy but in the past I have always prioritised the walk above all else yet as I say I have struggled to get the walking in. Strange really when you consider how much I enjoy pulling on my boots and setting off on a trail, always looking forward to seeing and hearing the sights and sounds I know I shall experience along the way.

Maybe it is a hangover of this cold of mine but I am definitely struggling to motivate myself into a regular walking pattern. Maybe I am being too hard on myself as I have only really been delinquent for a few days, but since my weight loss, I like many of us fortunate to have this experience, don’t like to be idle at any time, in fact, the other day a friend of mine called me a machine that simply keeps on going and going.
Anyway, what ever the reason might be, I need to get back in the saddle, get rocking the walk and smashing it at the gym.

Oh my life is just so busy….!

In fact, so busy am I, my phone has just launched a reminder to tell me that a local TV station is coming round this morning to do an interview with me and I had forgotten!

Doh!

Last week after appearing in the local Oxfordshire paper I received a call from the team at That’s Oxford asking to come to my house and interview me with regard to the weight loss story and the charity walk I am undertaking. It will be yet another good opportunity to promote the charity HENRY, promote the walk, ask for sponsorship, promote my new business venture and do all I can to make the exposure work for me as much as I possibly can….

So with that in mind, I must now press on and deal with the straightening up of the house, as there is NO WAY I can have someone visit with simply anything out of place….. πŸ™‚

Oh, and just before I go, it looks like this Logo got the vote of confidence from the bulk of you so it will be this one on a black or a white background that wins the day….

Thanks for voting.

‘Till tomorrow,

Stay out of the fridge.

Hope you feel well, it is hard to get back to it when finishing up any illness. I walked yesterday and have been taking it easier! I love the logo with the black background, it is very strong and makes a statement. Wow you are so busy with all of your appearances. Thanks for still taking the time to post and answer our comments! Have a great day Cameron!

Feel better my friend. The best way to get back into the routine is to face it head on. I know the days I take a break from my exercise it gets hard to get back into it. Also, I suggest you use the black background. Those colors contrasts so well with the black background.

Love the new logo! Oddly enough I have had the very same troubles with motivation for my runs this week. I have been dressed and ready out of the gate every day, and even went so far as to hit the pavement. But I just have not been able to bring myself to run more than a half mile and feel like ‘nope, not gonna happen today’. I even tried TWICE yesterday in hopes that I just hadn’t gotten myself fully awake in the morning so I tried again later in the afternoon….same. I am saying my prayers for my mojo back tomorrow, as my entire month of April’s Saturday’s are filled with races. But also like you I’ve been a busy beaver-spring cleaning, house projects, etc-go go go! Funny that we’re both in the same spot eh?

Sometimes a simple concept can offer all the motivation needed. How about, “no time to EAT until we elevate the HEART BEAT.” Abstaining from sustenance generally lifts the posterior off the couch and into gear! Don’t be too hard on yourself. We all have periods in life with obstacles. It all comes down to perseverance.
