Almost Adhering To The Challenge….

Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to another day here on Planet Magnet. Once again we start a new week and we are all excited to see what is on the cards. For me it is no doubt more of the same. More charity work, more walking and more blogging. For some it is much harder and for others much easier but I for one cannot complain and must make the most of the hay whilst the sun shines as I shall be starting my business over the next month, tentatively building up what is required for a good customer base in the world of a Handy Man.

Yes folks.

I am a handy man.

And not simply because I only live around the corner…. πŸ˜‰

No, I can turn my hand to most things, treat people with respect, am conscientious, hard working and reliable. These I am sure you will all agree are excellent attributes for anyone who works in any kind of service industry.

I can put up shelves, trim and rehang doors, change electrical socket and switches, move light pendants, install white goods, install complete, partial or basic Audio Visual Systems, fit lights, extend sockets, reglaze windows, install bathrooms, perform basic plumbing, tile walls, fit wood floors, install skirting boards, repair floorboards, perform basic computer and come network services, service cars, change and renew car brake discs, shoes, pads, calipers, fluid…. mend, steering and suspension components, install complete, partial or basic car hifi systems, sat nav systems… the list kind of goes on and on.

A “Jack of all trades but a Master of none” Although I would have to confess at being relatively good at most things….. :-/

This is most definitely something I enjoy doing (the work, not bragging anout how good I am) so I am going to enjoy launching the business and building it slowly. Therefore you will understand that this will yet another thing to consume my already limited time….. πŸ˜‰

But I really do not mind. I prefer to be busy, to be in perpetual motion rather sitting around bored. I find it better for my head, better for my soul and better for my motivation. I shall however have to try my best to watch how I manage my time because I cane me guilty of allowing it to slip though my fingers as the sands of time so frequently do….

So anyway, as I have been alluding to it so far in all of this blog, I struggle for time and as I have been asked by Millie Thom to take part in the three quote challenge I figure why not combine two things and at least I am sort of taking part. I won’t be asking anyone else to join in and I won’t be able to go three days but I figure as my blog is all about weight loss, why don’t I do it like this and nearly meet the challenge…. πŸ™‚

Three quotes that are apt to us all….

Now that is all I have for today so please do pop back and there will be further pearls of wisdom to motivate, astound and surprise you when you do….

‘Till tomorrow,

Stay out of the fridge.

Being a DIY man is a great thing to be, Cameron, and to turn your skills into a business venture is a great idea. I suppose it’s another drain on your time, as you say, but hopefully one that will benefit you financially once you get going.
The second quote is a hoot. I’ll remember that one next time I open the fridge up for a tasty morsel or two. The three quotes easily qualify for the challenge. Lots of bloggers post all three quotes on a single day – others do one a week. Thank you for participating. πŸ™‚

I’m like you, Cameron. I’m a good doctor…. I guess that ends my list. It’s a great gift to be talented with your hands. I’m certain you are going to have a successful business and one you’ll be proud of.

Thank you Jonathan. We all have talents for sure. My brother had the same opportunities to learn from my father as I did. He did not, went into business and is now a multi millionaire. Some days I wonder who did it right and then I witness his stress levels compared to mine and I realise I am the lucky one…. 😜
