Well It’s Looking Like It Might Just Work….

Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to another day here on…. Hold on, it’s not just ANY day, it’s Sunday! The weekend’s relaxing day is HERE! Time to throw off the chains of the week and get relaxing! Now personally, I have things to do as I need to help my friend with her house but I don’t mind at all because after my surprise trip to the theatre on Friday night I am good to go! Yes thats right, you heard me, I was taken to the theatre as a surprise. It was an early birthday present and a thank you for all of my help so far. We went to the Oxford Playhouse and watched a modern day Shakespeare styled play about Prince Charles becoming King. Very witty and very machiavellian so right up Shakespeare’s alley for sure!

You will be pleased to know that yesterday I went out for a walk and managed a good nine miles in just over three hours so that was pleasing to accomplish. I am most definitely a bit behind where I was before the Christmas break but not too far off. I still have the stamina to walk although it needs increasing. I was regularly walking at four miles per hour and that gave me room to breath at that speed however yesterday I found that slipped to an average of three miles per hour and although not out of breath found that my muscles were happy moving at that speed and not any quicker.

Go Fund Me….

A very quick post today guys as I am a little snowed under with all of this charity stuff so I am struggling to make sense of what I have one and what I still have to do. Know this though, regardless of done or to do, the list is long for both…!

The thing that has just hit me after spending £220 on some walking kit for my training walks is just how expensive it is going to be. Because of this I have had to take some action and after extensive searching I figure Go Fund Me might be the answer as I will need help from as many people as I can possibly get.

To that end I have decided to try out this go fund me page and see if I can raise something towards the £2000 I believe it will cost me to do this entire event with support.

Please take a look and if you think you may be able to spare a little cash then please do so and hopefully it will lighten my burden.

As ever guys, you people are amazing so I shall leave you to your own devices and the weekend.

‘Till tomorrow,

Stay out of the fridge

The Magnet Interviews…. A Sleeved Lady

Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to the final day of the working week here on Planet Magnet! I trust you are ready for the delights your weekend holds and are looking forward to meeting these delights with open arms and a welcome look on your face. Personally I have no idea what my weekend holds in store. I am sure there will be the requisite amount of painting and decorating, some “handy man” building jobs and no doubt some good eating but none of that matters today because this evening I am being taken out for a surprise!
Part of it is to say thank you for all of my efforts over the past few months and part of it is because it is my birthday next Thursday (thats the 3rd of March people….) however, regardless of which part is which I shall look forward to it because in all of my days I honestly do not recall ever being taken out on a surprise!
Well, I say that, maybe it has happened but I don’t remember, so therefore to my mind it doesn’t count 😉 however, I do know one thing for sure though, I am looking forward to this evening and plan to enjoy myself.

The Magnet Interviews….Real Cooking With Real People

Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to another day here on Planet Magnet. I trust today finds you feeling suitably Thursday enough and you are preparing to welcome your weekend downtime with open arms.

Today I have another treat for you guys with another interview, this time from Lynn of Lynz Real Cooking. Lynn is perhaps the most wonderful of ladies I have had the privilege of meeting here on WordPress. She is a supreme story teller and as she candidly recounts her tales of life in the Middle East I can honestly say some of the things she tells us makes my toes curl. Yet this lady is a survivor and if you want proof, well head on over to her blog and simply take a look for yourself. If you think you have it tough well trust me, it ain’t nothing compared to what this fine lady was forced to go through….

Anyway, I leave that for now and reveal answers that are at odds with history and proof that a smile can conquer so much.

The Magnet Interviews – A Half Baked Idea…

Good morning worlds and welcome to the hump day that is Wednesday. The middle of the working week, two days down and only two (well three really but I don’t want to disappoint….) to go….!

Today we have a return to the questions so please allow me to bring you the Magnet Interview questions as answered by my dear darling friend Fiona of Osyth fame whilst being the creator of the wonderful Half Baked In Paradise. Fiona was one of the first people to follow me on my blog and has been a staunch supporter ever since. She is an inspiration and (if she will let me say this) my mentor. She always manages to take time to come up with ideas and is honest with her opinions so I though because of that, I thought would put her to the test with the Magnet Interviews and so here is what she had to say…..

Tasty Tuesday- A Little Fry Up…

Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to another day here on Planet Magnet. I hope today sees you enjoying the second day of the week and you are still coping with all of the challenges that the week throws at you.

To make our week that little bit more enjoyable I have decided to bring you a new recipe from my extensive arsenal of food designs. This one was created up by myself in it’s entirety (although I must confess to using a Lemongrass and Ginger paste as opposed to preparing them myself :-/ ) The Prawn Stir Fry was borne of me wandering around my local Waitrose trying to think of what to make whilst literally picking things up as I went. At the end I was left with these ingredients and thus I decided they would be perfect for a nice variation of my Hot Thai Prawn Noodle recipe.

So here we have it, the newest addition to the Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet’s recipe section Prawn Thai Stir Fry…

The Magnet Interviews – An On-Line Personal Trainer

Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to another day here on Planet Magnet…. The week has started amid a flourish to some and a raise from slumber for others. School holidays are over and everyone must be back at their stations bright eyed and bushy tailed. Whether it be the classroom or the office desk, the supermarket till or the factory production line, we nearly all have somewhere to be and something to do so with that in mind, I’d best not delay you any longer as I know that even I have to get on today because I have a ton of things to do with arranging my charity walk, after all, nobody said it was going to be easy….

Today we have another set of questions for you from my interviews. These are from the wonder David from Chape blog, the on-line personal training blog. David has answered his questions honestly and openly so I hope you enjoy them as I did.

The Magnet Interviews – Chape:

Are you usually late, early or right on time?

I love to be right on time because I hate to wait.

The Magnet Interviews – The Road To There

So to continue my interviews, Amanda from Finding Skinny Me/The Road To There was kind enough to answer my questions so Here they are for your delectation.

Witty and warm I hope you like them….

Interview with a magnet:

Are you usually late, early or right on time?

When my kids were younger I was always always really late. Now, I’m on the button.

What are three positive things your friends would say about you?

I’ve actually asked because I have a draft post in the works. Every single one of them said I’m ambitious and driven as hell. (I don’t know about that, but literally every one I asked said the same thing).

If you were a shape, what shape would you be?

If you were an animal, which one would best describe you?
