The Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet Ate My Kitten…Cont…

Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to the weekend on here on Planet Magnet. Now I know that you probably have better things to do than sit reading my blog but I reckon you came back today because yesterdays headline really piqued your interest and you just had to find out what I was talking about.

Well, I can now report that mad old ladies with a house full of cats will be pleased but unfortunately their natural enemy the dog may be a little disappointed.

I did not eat any kittens.

To be honest, I did not even see any kittens let alone have any sautéed with some garlic and black pepper and serves on a bed of puppy dogs tails….

It did pique people interest and that is what it is all about.

You see, back in the mid 1980’s there was a headline in The Sun newspaper that was one of the daftest things you will ever likely read. Splashed across the front pages were the sensationalistic words…

“Freddie Starr Ate My Hamster”

For those of you who have no idea who this man Freddie Starr was/is, he was a comedian of great note back in the day with many many fans wanting to see his shows and buy his videos. The fact that it was all political incorrectness and mostly over the top crass material, didn’t really matter those times of lesser understanding and decent behaviour. All that it was about was getting the lowest common denominator into your act to put bums on seats.
A bit like the ridiculous headline in that issue of The Sun, an issue that I am sure was guaranteed to have sold an unprecedented amount of copy because of the sensationalised and over-hyped headline that in reality bore absolutely no resemblance to the truth.

Which brings me to my headline…..

The Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet Ate My Kitten.

I know, stupid isn’t it? Absolutely ridiculous for sure.

I was rather peckish…. 😉

No, Felix is fine.

This is an absolute measured and well thought out headline that is being used to see if having the word Kitten in the title of a post will actually attract more hits simply because it is there. We have surmised that if you have words Kittens or Puppies in the title of your You Tube video, you will almost automatically get literally thousands more hits by virtue of the fact there are millions of people around the world who go to You Tube to get their daily fix of kitten and puppy cuteness and although you may not automatically get to keep these people going forward, even if you manage to keep a small percentage it is a proven and worthwhile exercise to undertake when increasing numbers is on the agenda.

To this end you have borne witness to this headline and I am also informing you that I shall be filming a new You Tube video in the early part of next week (so it will be ready for release in the latter part of the week once it is edited etc) and that we have decided to use the Kittens word in the title. Because of this I am hoping to invite two small kittens to be in the video and thus prove or disprove our (rather out there) theory.

So apologies to all who thought I had eaten a kitten but it is all about the headlines and I honestly really only want to get the readers over the door, because as long as I get them over the door the more followers I stand to gain, therefore increasing the chances of actually smashing my £10,000 charity target to smithereens.

It is after all, all about the money, ain’t a damned thing funny.

Well, apart from me maybe eating a kitten but that would be finny peculiar, not funny ha ha! even though I probably could have managed one when I was THE Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet in my first incarnation, but I can assure you not so much now……

‘Till tomorrow,

Stay out of the fridge.

Stop mocking us poor crazy cat ladies – it is genetic. You would have to be careful eating kittens. The fur and little bones would get stuck in your teeth. We have been to Peru – they eat guinea pigs there.

The Bean was hopeful for a moment there … she isn’t a fan of felines and thought you were helping in her quest to rid the world of their scourge. Disclaimer: I am talking about my dogs feelings, her opinions are her own, I simply do the typing 😉
