Happy Birthday To Me, Happy Birthday To Me

It was 12 months ago today, the Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet began to play….

Hello followers of the WBFM and thanks for tuning in to my blog.

Who would have believed that I would be still be doing this 12 months after starting my little blog to discuss my life before and after surgery and monitor my weight loss and personal progression over the following eighteen months?

It’s crazy!

I have posted a total of 361 posts including todays Anniversary masterpiece 😉 Plus there were the many pages that I constructed over the months that followed so all in all a fairly good body of work to hit my first year birthday with!

So because of this incredible achievement and after yesterdays advice at giving some time to myself, I have decided to make today’s post very short, pop in a couple of links to my recent media exposure, sit back and relax!

How does that sound?

Pretty darn good to me…!

So my interview was broadcast on BBC Radio Oxford on Wednesday 13th January. You can follow this link if you wish to go to the BBC Website and start from 40 minutes letting it run through to 46.17 minutes in order to hear myself and a Plastic Surgeon discuss the issue of excess skin. Alternatively you can go to this link on this very website and listen to the sound bite listed as A Terribly Nice Chap….

I was also on the TV and at present am still awaiting the video file to be sent through from the BBC so I can add it to the BBC Media page. There was a link available to the BBC website but unfortunately it appears to have expired so I need to ask for your patience my friends….

I won’t say until tomorrow because I won’t be back until Monday so enjoy the weekend folks and if you are like me you will sit back and relax and let life swim over you coming up for air as and when you need it.

So ’till next time,

Stay out of the fridge.

Goes to show how quickly time passes. Congratulations on accomplishing so much in one year. The best news is, this is just the beginning. Wait until you see what year 2 brings. Stay healthy and happy my friend.
