Good morning world and thanks for tuning in to another Tasty Tuesday here on the most wonderful place in cyberspace, the home of the Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet.
Tuesday on WBFM has become synonymous with healthy, easy to make recipes with simple to follow Cameron proof instructions…. And today it continues as normal with a new creation of my own discovered by simply mixing some bits together in a pan and literally saying “Wow!” at the outcome!
So what is it that we have on offer this fine Tasty Tuesday. Well it’s a Sea based dish where the main three ingredients come from beneath the waves…..
Salmon, Prawn and Samphire Mix Up.
Ingredients:
- 110gms Sockeye Salmon Fillet.
- 75gms Jumbo King Prawn.
- 45gms Samphire.
- 150gms Closed Cup Mushrooms.
- 1 Large Chilli – deseeded and finely chopped.
- 2 Large Clove Garlic – finely chopped.
- Flat Leaf Parsley – roughly chopped.
- 2 Large Slugs Olive Oil.
- Cracked Black Pepper and Pink Himalayan Salt to season.
Put 2 large slugs of Olive Oil into a frying pan and bring up to temperature.
Place the Salmon Fillet in the pan Skin side down and put the King Prawns around the edge.
Season with some Cracked Black Pepper.
And Pink Himalayan Salt.
Whilst these cook, finely chop the Garlic and the Chilli.
Add the Mushrooms to the pan.
And place the Salmon to one side skin side down so as to keep warm whilst the prawns finish cooking in amongst the mushrooms.
Next remove one Salmon Fillet from the pan and design and flake the remaining fillet.
Mix in with the Mushrooms and remaining Prawns.
Then add the Garlic and the Chilli and mix well.
Add the Samphire and cook for a further five or so minutes
Mix this in also and here you go…
Simple, tasty food that is also extremely healthy. Nothing better!
Eh, Voila!
Hope you like the recipe and I have to say that ANYONE can make this one and because it is SO easy to do, I don’t want to hear ANY excuses!
‘Till tomorrow,
Stay out of the fridge.
All my favourite ingredients – that looks good. ๐ Bon apetit.

Samphire is a member of the Parsley family for want of a better description.
It grows by the sea on the rocks etc and in this country is sold on the fish counter!

No Fiona, it was from Waitrose. A very special little bit of Sockeye on a very special little deal so VERY well priced. I do usually buy from the Co- Op….. We’re Good with Food…. ๐
How goes it over there in Boston Mass of Chew Sets?

Jolly good. Here I’m beginning to find my feet …. It’s odd being a foreigner who speaks the same language …

I’ll bet, mind you the Boston accent is a bit of a weird one so you will be even more the foreigner than if you were in NY or Cali….
Glad you are settling in though, I am so happy for you that you are finally there, turpitude issues or not!!
