3 Days 3 Quotes Challenge – Day 3

A few days ago I was nominated to do this by PalFitness. Obviously with the turn of events last night in France I am still posting but if I am honest I am not that bothered if anyone makes any comments or even takes up the challenge. There are far more important things to consider today. However, if you do decide to view then please know this is my last day of the challenge and the more serious part of my life.

So, what are the rules?

Well they are quite simple to be honest (hence why I have accepted..)

They are:

Post three consecutive days.
You can pick one or three quotes per day.
Challenge three different bloggers per day.

Now as for me, today I shall be picking the following three blogs:

  1. Time No Matter.
  2. Half Baked In Paradise.
  3. Fatty McCupcakes. Although I am unable to send your invite direct because I cannot see how to leave any comments!

Laos (Lao Tzu) was a philosopher and poet of ancient China. He is known as the reputed author of the Tao Te Ching and the founder of philosophical Taoism, and as a deity in religious Taoism and traditional Chinese religions.

Way ahead of his time considering he died in 531B.C, it makes you wonder what he would have thought of this world we live in today, especially after last nights shocking events in Paris.

My all time favourite quote is “If you are depressed you are living in the past. If you are anxious you are living in the future. If you are at peace you are living in the present.”
When talking about love – “Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
And when we talk of one of the most widely used quotations ever used “The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

Some wonderful words of wisdom there.

I trust you guys saw the fun in this and enjoyed my selections.

Cam I will gladly take up the challenge and thank you for thinking of me and for thinking I might actually be able to do something worthy! I won’t do it immediately, if you don’t mind, for obvious reasons but life does go on and perhaps we can use this to spread some multi-cultural wisdom and awareness 🙂 Although I am more likely to go the route of love love love because I really do believe it is all we need …
