Well good morning everyone and I trust you are all well here in the land of Magnet?
I am pleased to say that I feel as though I am finally coming out of that Flu Jab funk I have found myself in for the past couple of weeks.
I have to be honest, although I have never been affected before, it has made me question getting the jab in future winters. I have had the jab each year for the past three or four and never suffered any side effects. I can also state that I have not had any real stinkers of a cold in that time either so can only assume that it is this years strain that has been the issue but because of it, I will most definitely think twice about having another.
Yesterday saw me have a most productive day (hence believing that I am possibly on the mend) getting jobs done, being out and about, having a couple of meetings, doing my grocery shopping and finally making a couple of dishes and preparing one for cooking in the slow cooker tomorrow.
Only one of these is a new recipe so I will see how it comes out before I start extolling its virtues or considering adding it to my Tasty Tuesday recipe book….
Now, why do I have the header Recipes today when it isn’t a recipe day? Well, one of my very lovely readers asked if there might be anyway that I could put a direct access link to all of the recipes I have made for the blog so you guys don’t need to search for them, all you need do is click the link scroll down and find the recipe you might so desire. Easy.
Well, I’d like to say it was easy but to be honest it took me most of the morning to get all of the recipes together, work out how to build a new heading and then link all of the recipes to it.
Anyway, regardless of that, I think I have managed it.
So if you can’t find a header called Recipes simply click on this link and you will be taken there as if by magic.
You will also be pleased to know that all future recipes will find themselves added in to this section as well as Tasty Tuesday, so no need to hunt for those either.

Food was quite good for the day as I was still trying to get my appetite back. This was helped by taking my calories, carbs and protein in the form of the drinks.
Exercise was again non existent for the day although I did put on my gym kit again first thing in the morning in the vain hope I might feel overcome with energy and need to go and burn it off as soon as possible. Unfortunately this never happened and is unlikely to happen today as I shall be in class once more learning how to regain my confidence….
