Groundblog Day

So once again I write about how difficult it is to write about things everyday of my life in a way so as they might matter to another person enough to get them to read it…

It isn’t easy for sure but I do believe it is worthwhile because if I have touched ONE person through all that I write then it will have been completely worth it.

As you know I like to relate to you everything that I am doing but because life tends to repeat itself no matter how hard we try to avoid it, it seems that some days I could write the same as a previous day.

I know it’s not like I wake each morning to the same tune and the same questions or life events but when you lose weight you need to get into a routine because the routines help with keeping on top of eating and exercising. However I like to keep myself as fluid as I possibly can and as each day passes I become more and more open to new suggestions and life choices which all add up to the rich tapestry of experience.

Take my decision to start a Body Balance class, that was easy because I had already made the jump to Tai Chi on my own but getting there was a monumental life choice for me.

So what I suppose I am saying is that although our lives can appear to be on repeat and we have nothing new to experience each day, in reality there is a myriad of new things that happen daily.

All we must do is take note and we can enjoy them.

Food was good and bad in equal amounts. The recovery drink took me way high on the carbohydrates when linked to the two slices of Rye Toast and Almond Butter but again I am not concerned as it isn’t as though I do it all of the time.

As for the exercise well being a rest day yesterday gave me carte blanche to do as little as I wanted although there was a good deal of running around and a dog walk which all helped to give me a jawbone reading of over 7,000.

‘Till tomorrow,

Stay out of the fridge
