Morning folks and welcome to the weekend.
Very quick post today as not much to report but also its the best day of the weekend and I want to get on and enjoy it just like you guys!
So yesterday as some of you may know was an absolute bust in terms of health and fitness, well not so much the health part but certainly the fitness for sure. Instead of hitting the gym for a workout, doing a Body Balance class and walking the dog all by lunchtime, I was completely pooped so spent the day laying on the sofa!
What a waste….
Well not really because I honestly do believe that if we listen to our body it has a myriad of information to give us and all we need do is interpret it into some form of computable code, then we will simply feel better just by taking it’s advice. It is difficult to understand that rest is as important as exercise because when we rest we feel lazy, when we feel lazy we feel guilty.
Or at least that is how I feel.
So yesterday I took myself to the sofa and did some hard core resting. Admittedly I did have some spurts of activity when I was preparing my meals but on the whole I relaxed and do you know what? Today I feel so much better for it! My aches and pains have gone, my lethargy is relieved and my body feels new once again with flexibility back in my joints and energy back in my muscles.
To that end there is really very little to report and very little to say other than top job and we should never feel guilty for taking a days break!

Food wasn’t too bad considering we were out for lunch but there was a naughty extra which came in the shape of a slice of Victoria Cream Sponge and I only ate that because of my friend who is obviously a serial cake enabler…. 😉
So with no activity what so ever, there is absolutely nothing to report in this section of the blog. Hopefully today I am going to be back smashing it at the gym so you will have plenty to read about tomorrow with your Sunday papers…!
‘Till tomorrow,
Stay out of the fridge.
I agree! I think it is important to rest our bodies and not feel guilty about it!
