So how can you follow the Magnet to see how he is progressing?
Well there’s obviously this blog’s email system to begin with. If you are signed up you will receive an email every single time I post on my blog.
Then there is Facebook. This will show you a link to my latest post as long as I have shared it on Facebook and you will see it as long as you are a friend or follow the Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet page
There is also Twitter. My address of @wbfridgemagnet is another good way of never missing a post.
But then maybe you would prefer something a little more interactive where all you need do is turn on, tune in and drop out.
Well if that is the case you will be pleased to know that once again I am once more going to start posting bi weekly videos of the Magnet and what I have experienced over the previous two weeks.
I am sure you will agree that the You Tube channel is a good idea. Mainly because you get to see exactly how I am progressing with the weight loss as I talk to you about my experiences in a face to face manner which I suppose we could think of as a little more intimate. The other good thing about it is you can see videos of me from almost just after the operation so you will be able to gauge my progress with how I address the camera, how I come across, if my confidence has grown and if I am blossoming as a person now that my life is on the turn around.
Obviously there are videos of me in the Media section of this site, starting from just a few days before the operation, taken with my iPhone. I took the opportunity of watching these once again and even I can see how much I have changed and I am the subject so don’t really look at myself any differently to be honest.
Today my skin looks clearer, my eyes brighter and my general size is so much less than I am shown in the videos. I am honestly amazed as to how bright I am in the videos given that I had just had major surgery. It is odd that I can remember in vivid detail how I did on the day of the surgery and then how the next couple of days went whilst on the ward yet I have no recollection of making these videos which is weird because I would imagine most people would remember when they made and posted a video to their blog!
Anyway, I suppose the purpose of todays post was to tell you that the video blogs are coming back and will once again be hosted on You Tube as before. In fact why don’t you give it a quick click and catch up with my latest offering….

Food intake was very low on Monday for no other reason than I was “flat out like a lizard drinking”! After breakfast I walked and because I was caught in a torrential downpour, had to go shopping in order to find myself a replacement pair of gym shorts (all others were in the wash 🙂 ). After which I was able to head to the gym and then go about my day, even though by that time it was nearly 5pm! The evening then saw me making the casserole from yesterday’s post, a batch of the Almond and Coconut bars and two batches of Egg Mini Muffins so to be honest I didn’t really feel like eating very much at all so settled for a small bowl of fruit salad and some fat free yogurt however, this didn’t really help my carb intake for the day apart from pushing it up to more than twice that of the protein.
The only exercise taken yesterday was a walk with Archie so all that was needed was the screenshot of my (now functioning correctly) Jawbone Up2 App readout counting my steps.
The total wasn’t too bad considering I was mostly sedentary for the bulk of the day apart from the part where we went for a walk. Today will prove to be much more active
