Hello world and thanks for tuning in to the Worlds Biggest Fridge Magnet for my latest walking report with Archie the Dog.
Apologies for the delay in the publishing time of this post and the fact that it is a shorter than usual post today as I had quite the busy weekend and to be honest was so worn out last night, I am writing this on the day of the post which is unusual if not unheard of for me.
Unfortunately the walk was not as long or extensive as we had planned due to a general lazy arsed morning where we ate a healthy breakfast, read the newspapers and watched cooking programs on the TV. This meant our schedule was pushed back quite dramatically and when I arrived to collect the dig from my mothers, I was informed that we only really had an hour to walk him as she was going to take him out a little later in the day!
To be honest though, this fitted in fine with us as we had decided to go shopping for bits and pieces for our respective homes (more kitchen gadget based than anything else but home improvement non the less!)
So anyways, onto the walk that wasn’t really that wild!
As ever we set off with Archie being Awkward and sticking out his tongue just like all ten year olds like to….
But we were soon parked up and off on our trek with Archie blazing the trail.
The lane itself leads us around the back of the Ardington House stately home (which is now a venue but was lived in until very recently) and it’s grounds.

And it’s trout filled lake…
And with view like this, it is no surprise neither Archie, our companions or myself EVER get tired of walking around our local countryside.
So thats the little walk we went on yesterday. I know it was only just over 2 miles but it is a gorgeous part of the world to be so I would be happy even if I were sat still! I promise next time I shall have a full days walking and a much grander array of pictures for you guys to look at.

No totals I’m afraid as I was struggling to work any of it out apart from the breakfast. With that in mind I think I leave them blank and say this is proof that a day out really does impact the diet somewhat! Even though I chose a healthy (ish) dish at lunch, my dinner choice was a trifle worse with some sides from Franky and Benny’s even though I barely ate half of them (not the best dish they offer….) but I was probably still full from lunchtimes BLOODY GORGEOUS feather of beef!
So I was quite active with the morning walk around the stately home and its grounds with my Map My Walk screenshot showing a reasonable distance (even though the last bit up to the main road was in the car…. Still, it makes my numbers look good!)
But the best bit was a full days monitoring of my steps by my new Jawbone Up2 which said I went through my daily target and beyond!
So even though I only had a short dog walk, I still managed to over achieve on the steps which probably accounts for why I was so tired and in bed at 9.30pm!
