So it’s Sunday.
The day of rest.
The day for putting your feet up and contemplating your week.
To that end, today I shall not write a lengthy blog.
In fact today and tomorrow I shall only be posting a quick message and my food diary as I have no energy for the gym or walking and am taking these days off.
I’m pretty sure I deserve it!
Yesterday was the Party in the Park and yet another mini school reunion. This time I was going to be able to mingle with people instead of being sat at a table on my own not knowing what would happen next as I was still learning the rules of my new stomach.
I believed that I would meet many more people up and on my feet (I would say working the room but we were in a huge park so that doesn’t apply!) feeling fit and healthy.
Unfortunately I was very delayed before making it to the event and by the time I had gotten there it was winding down and the reunion was no where to be found!
But thats the way it goes sometimes. I had obviously relaxed a little too much and in doing so had missed one of the events I was going to the park for!
Still, my day was what I had wanted, relaxing and recharging so a shame about the mini reunion but I had a good day non the less!

So my food intake on this day wasn’t too bad considering some of it was on the hoof. I woke very early (about 4.30am) and decided to get up and at ’em and get the gym out of the way as soon as possible because I was going to be busy. This meant an early protein shake (to take my supplements with) and then scrambled egg on toast all by six am because it had to be digested by the time I hit the gym at seven! After my exercise was finished I was off and running so by taking a Quinoa salad with with me I saved myself the unenviable task of finding something ready made to eat that didn’t come between two slices of bread!. A final meal of Ragu and Penne brought my Carbohydrate totals up but I exercised and was VERY busy so am sure I was able to burn it and use the energy it gave me to get through the day.
As I said earlier, yesterday was a rest day so there are no screenshots of my walking or gym performances.
But don’t worry, they will be back soon!
Stay out of the fridge.
