Today I don’t feel like doing anything, I just want to lay in my bed*
This pretty much summed up the feeling of yesterday as it saw me take in a well deserved rest day enjoying maximum resting that was available to me 😉
Nothing much therefore to report I am afraid. Obviously I wrote the blog and I also finished off some writing that I was supposed to finish the day before I was due to meet my friend from France to discuss my novel and some other projects but unfortunately that was cancelled, however I still managed to fill the day with some other bits and pieces so all in all a good day to be honest but a day taken at my pace and not being bullied into things that might see me deviate from my planned rest because as I say “All work and no play….”
I allowed myself to sleep late (07.30am) and then read for a while just maximising my lazy bed time, all highly stressful stuff 😉 and then spent the day in a calm state of body and mind. I was relaxed as I wrote, I was relaxed as I lazed around. I was even relaxed at my meeting so I think I can report that I might be starting to understand the benefit of this rest day more and more.
Best I put my feet up more often….. Nah!!

Food diary is from Monday as marked so I gave myself a bit of a treat for the Bank Holiday, but then I was going off to walk and to go to the gym so I figured the rasher of bacon and the sausage couldn’t do too much harm if I was working them off!
Anyway, thats about all the news for today. No Jawbone activity and no gym activity means I won’t put you through what I achieved, but mark my words I shall be back shoving it in your face again tomorrow…!
